How does it work?
The high volume of fluid destroys the abnormal blood vessels and nerve endings that have grown into the tendon therefore reducing pain.
How long does it take to work?
Patients are often able to return to regular physical activity and healthy lifestyle within 4 weeks of presentation.
When can I return to work after the procedure?
It is advisable to be cautious with walking for 24 hours after injection, after which you can gradually return to normal activity as pain allows.
